CONTEXT

This is a piece that is personal to me.
While professionally pursuing my Dance career I suffered from an ACL and Meniscus injury, which stalled my career. This project took place after 1 year of recovery.

:an attempt at finding an ALTERNATE form of DOCUMENTAtion for dance movement





as a Dancer I am curious to find new manners of documentation for my movement. Here, I attempted to capture the movements of the body,during dance, onto a single frame—a concept that interests many dancers. 

through a process of image sequencing videos and layering the frames on top of each other the resulting images were created. The images convey every single movement done in the duration of each freestyle all at once.
